Cute, aren't they?

This dress is inspiring me to go running.

I rather wish we had done more research. I liked our wedding coasters and they suited the colour theme but these are so much cheaper and more striking.

Fuschia Steel

There's something about this colour combination that is very old-world, very glam. I can totally see a bride with a short vintage or white duchess satin dress with a bubble skirt and red lipstick.

Pitched ceilings

Two bedrooms at a boutique hotel in I think, Santa Barbara. Great stuff on the decals, a really neat ceiling and such a smart idea for an extended work desk! I wonder if we could do that.

Bright spots of the week

This picture brought a smile to my face and then I realized why! The Claire is still haunting me.

How awesome are these orange chiavari chairs? I didn't even know they came in this colour. And these vintage bridesmaid dresses that one bride had her friends wear? So Twilight-meets-Breakfast-Club.

Timeless classiness

There's something so gorgeous and timeless about this board and what really struck me was the simple luxury of the chocolate cake, set against the white and green of the garden orchids. I guess one way to do white, green and brown is to amp up the green into a dark forest green and use it with the brown as an accent colour and to really use more whites. There's something so classic and yet understated about the colours in these boards and also something about hand-lettered calligraphy that give you the goosebumps...

I'm not over winter yet, I guess! Blue isn't my favourite colour but I'm slowly coming round to dark royal blues and navy blues, especially when used in this icy way!

Citrus in Winter

I think this was kind of the citrus-in-winter feel that we were going for. It's so nice to see it played out in mild yellow and kumquats, there's really nothing like white flowers paired with pale colours and one strong accent colour.

There's really nothing quite like the colour red
