End of year blues

Or sherbet colours, really. I'm not sure why but I'm feeling so slow these days. I'm getting work done, yes but I wish I was baking and icing Christmas cakes instead and somehow avoiding this duskiness of feelings. I wish I was somewhere cold, with a family that roamed apple orchards and roasted French food. And in the midst of that, I'm having some serious macaron-baking withdrawal.
