Little Luxuries of Apartment Life

Who needs space when you can instead have cute objects? These objects are almost Japanese in their compact-ment. They are retailed at www.mxyplyzyk.com which is an actual store in Greenwich, New York. I must have walked past there lots of times and never known about it!

Can you guess what they are? The first is a portable BBQ grill, about 16 inches wide. That's about the width of 1.3 of a long ruler, or larger than a well-blown balloon but 1/3 smaller than a yoga ball. It would probably fit, at a pinch, 6 steaks? It's adorable and just $150, I'm guessing the charcoal and hickory wood goes underneath and you can use it for smoking meat. I can taste that pulled pork already!

The second one is a USB hub, but the mother of all hubs for your Blackberry, mobile phone, digital camera and Ipod. The third is funnier yet, a circlet of grass, which you can plant for inside your apartment or on your coffee table to "add some green". It's not very large and grows the jasper grass on nutrient-filled styrofoam balls. You can then trim the grass or let it run wild and it comes with refill packs for when your grass dies on you in 6 months.
